Panama Day 5 "Casa Providencia"

Hello everyone. Today was a full work day at Casa Providencia in a nearby town. This place is going to be something wonderful. It will be a special needs orphanage when it is finished and there is not another one in all of Panama. Right now most special needs orphans are just placed in regular orphanages where they don't get much attention. They suffer and are often treated cruelly. We worked to move roof tiles from one building to the orphanage work site and then pressure washed them to clean them. The head of Casa Providencia said it was a huge blessing to have our team there to help. The team surpassed expectations once again with their hard work and great attitudes. After hearing the vision and the need we wonder if there is more in NCA's future with this special place. I have placed a link to their website on this blog to the right. There is obviously much more to this story. Our ride back to Panama City was the Panama Canal Railroad. What a blast we had on the train, with soda, snacks and views of the Canal and rainforest, we felt like kings-and smelled like bums after our day's work. Those poor people on the train. HaHa. Please pray as we travel back to Naples tomorrow (all clean hopefully). God is a good God and we are so blessed!
